Description

Currently when text clashes it is possible to see how it clashes by switching on clashing text. However it would be extremely useful if a user could then decide which of the texts that clash, to display.

did you tested the new labelling engine, it handles clashes much better and it will replace the old labelling engine in the near future. Please leave further feedback after the test.

Hello, bug triage...

what did you mean by clashing ? Is it the intersection/collision of two labels ?
There is a lot of options in the new label engine to manage labels collision. You can define an expression to hide or show colliding labels which seems to be what is requested ("decide which of the texts that clash, to display").

I am thinking to close this feature request...

Agreed. You can use label layer priority, data defined priority, or data defined always show to control this.
