Description
The modeler window doesnt extend or resize beyond a certain limit.
I tried to build a model with a lot of variables and actions and at some point I dragged one of the variables outside of the view. But then it became "unreachable" because the scroll bars would not "extend any further".

i made it bigger (in r218). Would like to make it resize automatically, but that seems to be a bit harder to implement. Hopes this works for now

Yes making it bigger would solve the problem. GRASS Modeler has the exact same problem and so far I hasnt been fixed. Im not sure if ArcGIS Model Builder resizes the window automatically or if it is huge.
I just tried r218 and I dont see any difference. Are you sure its implemented?

the canvas size was 2000x2000. Now it is 5000x5000, so it should have more room for algorithms and other elements.

Ok, I think I know whats wrong. The window is in fact a lot bigger but when a "vector layer" is added it shrinks back to a smaller size (perhaps smaller than 2000x2000).

You are right, after adding anything, it went back to 1000x1000. I fixed it in r219

Just one more thing before closing this. It is possible to drag variables and actions outside of the modeler window. I did this by accident and I couldnt "retrieve" the variable, because it became "unreachable".
It should be impossible to drag variables/actions outside of the 5000x5000 limits.

Not sure why I closed this, but this still happens. With the "new" bigger Modeler window this is less of an issue, but when dealing with really big models (lots of algs) users often need to rearrange the algs disposition and its easy to drag the action outside of the visible window. If the user does this beyong the normal size of the Modeler window, its no longer possible to retrieve it.
