Description

Hello,

I am having consistent issues with the openlayers 1.0.0 plugin with qgis 1.8.0 while running ubuntu 12.04. When attempting to use the print manager, the layers do not align properly. I have tried removing and re-installing multiple times and searched the threads here for a solution without any luck. any help would be appreciated. I have included files for reference, thank you!

Hi Peter,
Looking at images it is not absolutely clear to me, where the offset are. Could you put some marks in the picture to see the offsets?

I guess the points should all be inside the water, as in the screenshot.
@Peter: Can you insert the other files belonging to the Shapefile (.prj .dbf etc)

Hello,

Sorry for the delay in replying, I lost my login information and only just managed to get it back. I have attached all of the shapefiles for the project as well as two images showing the proper allignment. Thank you for your help with this, I'm new at using QGIS and Ubuntu but am still amazed at the difference in speed between Windows and ArcGIS and do not want to switch back. Thanks!

Sincerely,
Peter Kraska

I tried your shapefiles, and got well-aligned printing output on Lisboa and Master running on Windows. But the Owen-Sound-qgs-file crashed on loading. Perhaps its a ubuntu specific issue of print composer.

I will try it from Windows, I was really hoping to keep it in Ubuntu as it is significantly faster at rendering some of the larger shapefiles I have been using, but for now I guess I will need to use Windows in order to get the graphics printed. Thanks!
