QGIS Release Team¶
The QGIS release team coordinates the release process, packaging and announcing new releases to the world at large.

His background is in Conservation Management (National Diploma & B.Tech Degree), GIS (MA Degree) and Biodiversity Information Systems. Tim currently serves on the QGIS Project Steering Committee. | Werner Macho is in charge if issuing bug fix release for the current point release. So for example if the current point release is 1.8.0, Werner will be in charge of issuing the 1.8.1, 1.8.2 etc maintenance releases from that point release. | Release Assistant | ||
