The beautiful Spilhaus projection ("oceans in a square") is new in PROJ 9.6.0. Since reprojecting vector data results in a mess, I turned the coastline polygons to raster, and went back to vector after using warp. I added a hillshade layer (hillshade plugin on downsampled version of ETOPO1) with multiply blending mode.
