The style is a modification of the symbology created by the amazing ImportPhotos plugin. As the name suggests it adds a directional symbol to the camera icon that shows the direction the camera was facing as well as the location. Use the styling to replace the default styling of layer produced by the plugin. It assumes the camera records the direction of view, which is not always the case with some smart phone apps. I have also added a label showing the file name below the symbol if that is desired. All properties can be easily modified. I have developed this styling with geotechnical investigations in mind but is useful for any field-based investigation.
