This QGIS XML style file brings the historic color palettes of the Albums de Statistique Graphique (1879–1897) into the QGIS environment. The palettes — featuring sequential, diverging, grouped, and categorical color ramps — were originally used in thematic maps and statistical visualizations produced by France's Ministry of Public Works under the direction of Émile Cheysson, a period widely regarded as the pinnacle of the Golden Age of Statistical Graphics. The style includes 20 carefully extracted palettes, each named by album year and plate number (e.g., 1880_07, 1881_03), making them ready for cartographic and data visualization work in QGIS.
